I'm curious. I doubt the padlock prevents sex or mastribation? I imagine it is only symbolic. Is there any way to possibly modify it and get this result? I would imagine that a piercing could possibly do this.

easy, just use a small enough one, like for luggage.

and if you want to use one for chastity from masturbation, you only need have a piercing or two (course you can't have comb or key) and attached a kali (tube with inward facing stubs which do not need be sharp) tube with it.

Huh, I wouldn't really think of a padlock as being a good symbol of protection or ownership. With the exception of a few hard core brands they're quite easily picked. Though I think the ability to pick a lock is quite sexy.

Well, because it is symbolic, it is known that it can be removed. But the act of removing it without permission negates the symbolism entirely. It is there as a reminder, if you remove it yourself, you are not onl removing the reminder, you are showing a lack of interest in continuing on in the relationship.

I've got two padlocks that were used for much the same experience. Must have been over a year ago since that happened. One was a bit too small, so I got a larger one that fits just fine. My only advice for those that try it out themselves is to be careful not to get any of your skin caught as you close the padlock. That is about the main difficulty that I have had.
Can you imagine this idea, but also chained to a bedpost or something? Imagine your certain other controlling you in such an intimate way. Same can even be said for a chastity belt as well.
