Kik are now saying they may have found a buyer for the app, not a done deal, but maybe kik can be saved. Just have to hope that new owners (if it goes ahead) don't stop adult content and groups.

Another thing with all the other apps so far, none of them show the difference between taking a live pic, or posting a saved pic from your gallery unlike kik (Okay I know some people had found a way to fake kik live pics, but at least most were not) So you can't tell if something is being done...

A problem I have found with Telegram, is that with public groups, anyone can look "inside" the group and see all that's been posted without even joining the group! Obviously this is a problem if you are posting adult or sensitive content. (also if someone does join the group, they can...

There are stories going around that Kik messenger is going to be shut down :( Don't know what date it is closing, but if true, it is not looking good...... Without kik a lot of threads on here will die. Not sure what alternatives there are to use.

oh I never knew that, seems a strange way to do it. Wonder what the reason is? So can never keep messages if other person delete's convo.

I logged in today and found that all my recent private messages / conversations have all disappeared? Anyone know what has happened? why?

on https://temporarily.exposed some pics have the option to extend the time they are up for. How do you get that option when uploading a picture? I can't seem to find the option anywhere.
