Break it down like this. Dom and sub (BDSM), sadist and masochist (SM). Doms and subs both switch roles...sadists and masochists never switch roles. A slave and a masochist are the same thing. A masochist does as she/he is told a slave does the same.
A sub tells you what they like. A slave is not allowed a preference or an opinion. BDSM and SM are on completely different levels. In BDSM the sub can switch and be on my level, in SM, the masochist will always be lower than me.
Again...why does everyone need ideas...?
