Surely being gay simply means you are sexually attracted to the same sex, and your main sexual orientation derives towards the same sex. Enjoying anal penetration is nothing to do with your sexuality then.

Anal doesn't always mean gay

I'm a bisexual slave/submissive and I can tell you... Anal does NOT necessarily mean gay. Anal means they like anal play, which can be from anyone of either sex, or from a toy of neither sex.

Sexuality is not who you fornicate with, nor what types of stimulation you enjoy, but who you can fall in love with.

I have known straight men who have experimented with other men. Ten they decided they had discovered what they intended to and moved on with their lives. There was no love, or emotional attachment involved at all, just a physical exploration. Those men were not bisexual or gay, just willing to push their own boundaries in order to experience new things.

Of course I have also known straight women who have experimented with other women, gay men who have experimented with women, and lesbians who have experimented with men. They maintained their sexual preferences throughout their discovery stages, then moved on.

Striaght Versus Gay or Bi

It seems that most of you are defining one's sexuality by actions, when I would submit to you that it's actually a matter of one's thoughts. Some years ago I took a college course on human sexuality in which the professor once posed the question: Which of these men are gay?

1. A married man with three kids who has only had sex with women his entire life, but all of his sexual fantasies and the porn he enjoys are centered around sexual acts with men.

or...

2. A gigolo who primarily services male clients and got into turning tricks to survive on the streets after running away from home as a teenager. All of his fantasies and sexual activities outside of making money are with women.

Taking the question one step further, is a man gay (or bi) if he engages in giving and receiving oral and anal sex to men, but he's not actually attracted to men? How could that be? Well, the turn-on might be something like submission and/or exhibitionism.

Certainly, it is easy to label a given sexual act as heterosexual or homosexual, but defining a person as heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual is not that simple.

The reality is, since nobody can truly know your thoughts except you, you are the only one who can actually define your sexuality - and for many people even defining their own sexuality is difficult!

Not Homosexual

Homosexuality is being attracted to only the same gender as you.
Heterosexuality is being attracted to only the opposite gender as you.
Bisexuality is being attracted to both genders.

The key word here is "attracted".

There are other meanings entirely for people out there who are identified as one of the above three but play sexually with people outside the gender associated with their orientation.

Heteroflexible is Homosexual individuals who are attracted to only the same gender but willing to play with the opposite gender and even possibly turned on.

Homoflexible is Heterosexual individuals who are attracted to only the opposite gender but willing to play with the same gender and even possibly turned on.

Anal play has nothing to do with ones orientation as that would be the same as saying lesbians who insert anything are not in fact gay.

Almost everyone is actually pansexual, meaning either gender. Problem is society itself.

I am straight and not attracted to the same gender. I am however open minded and do get hugely turned on from being humiliated, in which homosexuality is something I relate to humiliation.

I am not attracted to guys or turned on from them therefore I am straight but homoflexible.

Bicurious is someone who is not quite sure about their orientation. They have only been with one gender and are curious about whether they could enjoy being with the opposite gender they have been with already.

There are actually lots of homosexual men who do not engage in anal. I have met a few guys who have never fucked or been fucked in the ass or pussy.

Everybody has different interests so it is very hard to now stereotype or categorize people.

The terms used above are only in existence to separate people and single out in some cases. Unfortunately people have been brainwashed to believe they need to identify as something but dont realize it is only to segregate from others.

The easiest way to ever look at the subject of orientation is we are human beings who engage in sexual activity with other human beings.

I know some guys who like to be pegged but only by females wearing the strap-on... does that mean they may be gay but only with females?

Seriously it never cease to amaze me how in this day and age where information is so easily accessible (at least to most) to see people struggle with simple concepts and word definitions...

Homosexuality is being attracted to only the same gender as you.
Heterosexuality is being attracted to only the opposite gender as you.
Bisexuality is being attracted to both genders.

There ya go! ^^ :)

I think asking if a man is gay because he enjoys a strapon, is like asking if a lesbian is straight because she enjoys a strapon shaped like a penis.

No that does not make a man gay!
