People get into it for a lot of different reasons, some of them have more to do with the lifestyle than with sex. mommys sissy put it really well and explained a lot of different facets of the community, but I would like to add that there's also a lot of overlap. For example, I'm an age player, but also an age regressor. Sometimes I'm just regressing for the fun of it, to color and play and feel small. Other times, it's definitely got a sexual edge to it. But as with a lot of D/s stuff, a lot of the appeal probably stems from the relief one feels when they relinquish control and let themselves be submissive. It can be really nice to feel cared for by your CG, whether that looks like them tying your shoes and cutting the crusts off your sandwiches for you, or spanking you and sending you to bed in a diaper. As for me, I just happen to like both those aspects.
