Pet space

I am wondering why is it necessary to be in a pet place to set a mood? ( Ha.Ha.Ha.) I understand that we do have different preference and I do respect it. I never get to a point of thinking too much since I only want fun and excitement.

I am into role playing but never tried being his pet hahaha.

Getting into the pet headspace (for me its puppy headspace) is kind of reverting to a more primal state. You set aside thoughts about all the human things that stress you out like work and bills, and in that moment you're fully concentrated on what's immediately around you like the pet toy or the treat your partner has for you. For me it also sets up a submissive mindset where as the animal im reduced to more of a natural state (wearing nothing more than a collar and a butt plug tail) and as a pup my no1 goal in life is to please my master. I agree with nick. Ive done a decent amount of pony play, and you are totally escaping from your human ego. All that you have to focus on is the next command, and the positive feedback from your trainer is so exciting! Its a very simple and freeing world you fall into. The gear in pony play helps me transition too.
