I believe this is only related to the mental factor of excitement and not the blood flow in your buttocks. I don't think spanking makes the body react more than for a common bruise. Edging is stopping in time before reaching orgasm, not during it (however it happened rarely to start having it but without cum. This is the "legendary" edging that prevents a ruined orgasm)
