No key holder question

So I'm debating g putting a scrambled combo lock on my cage because I have no key holder. Has anyone ever done this or just have advice?

Given 4 digit lock has 10,000 combinations. At 3 seconds a try you can test them all in less than 10 hours. That's enough delay to get by a stretch if horniness.
