What is a slave?

A slave is a man with a special heart, that requires a connection with a Dominant Woman for him to find completeness in life. Once a slave truly understands that his existence is more complete and fulfilled by being obedient to his Mistress, everything else falls into place. A slave speaks in order to convey requested information or to request information about the Mistress' intentions. Anything a slave is allowed to do for himself is a gift from his Mistress, not a right, and this is a source of joy, not regret, because all pleasures are occasions to be thankful. When this aspect of the slave heart is understood, a slave starts to find peace in his life.

Obedience and Correctness
A slave will always act and respond in such a way as to make the Mistress' orders look right. A slave will never give the appearance that he thinks the Mistress has made a mistake, whether by facial expression, body language, or verbal challenge. Mistresses are not perfect, but whatever they order is right because that is their will. It is the Mistress' will that the slave submits to, not her correctness.

Addressing and Speaking with the Mistress
The slave will address the Mistress as "Mistress," "Madame," "Goddess," or "Yes, Ma'am" at all times. The slave may add the Mistress' given name, such as "Mistress Fiona" or "Madame Fiona" if necessary for clarity.
A slave does not speak to a Mistress unless spoken to or invited to speak, as by a nod, a word, a look, or other gesture. When the slave feels the need for the Mistress' attention, he comes to the Mistress' awareness and waits to be addressed. Exceptions are made only for emergencies. Once the Mistress has invited a slave into a conversation, it is not necessary to ask permission before asking questions or making comments, as long as the slave frames his remarks respectfully and does not interrupt the Mistress, nor impose on the Mistress' time or attention. A slave should not change the topic of a conversation without asking first if the Mistress wishes to discuss something different.

How to Ask a Question
The proper form for questions regarding any possible action by a slave is, "Madame, [or Mistress], do you wish me to [description of action], Madame? It is immaterial if the word 'wish' is replaced with 'want,' 'desire,' 'intend,' and so forth, or whether the action is simple, complex, or a prelude to a further conversation. The slave then waits for the Mistress' instruction.

How to Make a Response
The standard response by the slave to any instruction, acknowledgement, correction, explanation, or information conveyed by a Mistress is, "Madame, yes, Madame!" "Thank You, Mistress!" "Yes, Ma'am!" "As You Wish Madame!" The same form is used whenever a slave answers a question in the affirmative. If the slave's answer is negative, he says, "Madame, no, Madame!" "Ma'am, no, Ma'am!" "Thank You Mistress!" "Thank You Madame!"

No Arguments:dungeon
A slave is never wrong to ask for clarification of orders given to him or to offer to inform the Mistressof something that is troubling him, or something that is giving him joy. Slaves must avoid leading questions and argumentative expressions of opinion. Mistresses and slaves may discuss any matter at all, at the Mistress' discretion, but they do not debate!

Apologies
"Pardon Me, Mistress" and "My Apologies, Madame" are ways that a slave expresses regret for an accidental mishap. A slave never says "Excuse me," as this form implies that the slave acted of his own will.

Standing
A slave who is seated, whether on a chair, the floor or ground, normally stands whenever a Mistress enters or leaves the same room or space, unless the Mistress waives this by an immediate order to "sit," "stay," or "continue" and remains standing as long as the Mistress does.

Sitting
When told to "sit," a slave sits on the floor unless otherwise directed to sit elsewhere by the Mistress. After the session begins, a slave will carry with him a folded towelto sit on, whether on the floor or one of the allowed chairs. The slaves are responsible for their own "butt towels" and must replace them (without waiting for specific orders) when they are noticeably soiled.
