I've been looking to get more skilled with rope, but it's turning out to be a bit more complicated. I've looked into workshops and such, but especially the shibari ones easily cost hundreds to participate in.
For western style bondage the prices are not quite that extreme, but I haven't found any locally. Most of the workshops I could visit are suspension - when I really wanna focus on sturdy and safe basic knots and ties first.
Does anybody know a place online to find quality information/instructions online, or can someone suggest an event to me where I could find out more and learn some ropework? I've looked online for videos etc. but most of them are a bit unclear to me and I find it hard to get the knots the way it should be.
I should join the scouts or the navy, I hear they tie some knots.
