I have gone from years in boxers -> boxer briefs -> white briefs mostly fruit of the loom. I love having to get changed at gym or when sleeping at a friends house and that look they give me, totally humiliating. I know people can also see the waistband as well but its standing there in nothing but fruits is in a way more humiliating that naked.
