Depend how much information is exposed and what kind of pictures, but most important is, how much will effect you. Can be very risky if exposing can jeopardize your work or how will your family react, but can be also exciting if you are into this and you willingly allow someone to expose you.

It is as easy as the subject allows.
Trust is the main element although no trust can be even more exciting.
It boils down to what access you give someone to your personal life and what material you submit. It is I believe a form of blackmail that you suggest although it is an ugly word.
As I said, you control the situation within your limits unless you are outwitted by a devious person who wants to harm your private life.
