Kik got this feature that allows you to see who in your phone contacts have a Kik account. I denied this feature for a good reason.

But even if I denied it, will other people in my contacts find my account, or is that only possible if I share it?

If you denied access to your contacts, don't worry. If you deny it and Kik went ahead and added your contacts it's a privacy breach.
