In reality, most people who say they are "into" BDSM in any of it's forms aren't into the lifestyle, but are instead into BDSM play, where a part of their life, a part of their day or week is BDSM.
Those who are truly into the lifestyle live it, day in and day out. It is as constant as the need to eat or sleep, and an integral part of their existence.
It all depends on what aspect(s) of the lifestyle one practices, how deep the rabbit hole goes, as it were, in any individual's life.
We are all different, and those differences are what make the BDSM community the varied and beautiful thing that it is.
So my question is, how far down the rabbit hole are you? Do you live the lifestyle as a natural part of your daily life, or is BDSM a little spice that you add to your daily, weekly, or monthly routine of otherwise outwardly pretending to be vanilla?
