It is indeed a transistor, a particular type though (try googling the number on it) and fish type doesn't matter its more that it isn't a full fish.

Hmmm, ok.
So for the first clue how about this, the two things pictured only have one of these which is why they have it in common. There are many other things that have two or more...
Once you get the first clue the second will come together.

It is a transistor but a particular type that will instantly make sense, especially when added to an incomplete fish.

Ah... I guess I found something. The transistor is a MOSFET and combined with an incomplet fish I get "mosfetish" so it's probably "...mos fetish" and now we need the thing snails and stairs have in common.

Oooor... only FET (field effect transistor) was expected and we get "fetish" which would make more sense I guess.

Great job, you have the second word! It is indeed FET + the end of FISH = ISH hence FETISH.
As you say now back to the first two, I think you'll get it now you're thinking the right way.

I guess it's time for some native speaker to find the common element in stairs and snails.

A bit of summary...
apply some lateral thinking.

all snails and all stairs have this in common

A snail and stairs both have one of these.

not all stairs are spiral and all stairs have this and all snails have one too

Try starting at the bottom

So for the first clue how about this, the two things pictured only have one of these which is why they have it in common. There are many other things that have two or more...
Once you get the first clue the second will come together.

This is a kink and it is two words
Limited Mobility?

Oh! They have only one foot!

Is it foot fetish?
Correct! Well done it is FOOT FETISH. As you worked out, a snail does only have one foot and stairs also have a foot.

Anyone else got a puzzle worked out that they could submit?

Since there are some new players, I'll go over the rules. Each clue will be numbered and the answer will fill in the blanks below the image. The highlighted letters will give you all the letters you need to find the kinky answer (unscramble them like an anagram). The clues are in no particular order, but they all will relate back to the kinky answer in some way.

You're looking for one word, 9 letters.

1. 68269

2. 68270

3. 68271

4. 68272

5. 68273

So first thoughts,
1, looks like fun
2. Could be RECEIVE
3. Looks like ANGLE but that seems way too obvious...
4. ?
5. Has C02 and citric acid I believe but could simply be ATOMS?

1. (9 letters) How about STIMULATE?
2. RECEIVE = CI
3. (5 letters) How about ACUTE?
4. (6 letters) Seems to be something about factors, "wow factor" but how could that be reduced? EXCITE?
5. (5 letters) Maybe something to do with citric acid reacting with a base to release co2 or simply REACT?

Good puzzle!
